Job Title: Production Engineer I

Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Weld Production Engineer in our Columbus, IN facility, the leading facility of the world's largest forklift manufacturer. This role involves managing capital projects, troubleshooting, conducting downtime and quality investigations, and engaging in tooling design and design for manufacturing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up and transitioning manufacturing processes for our new 250,000 square foot facility slated to begin operations in Q3 of 2025. This position offers a unique blend of project management and hands-on equipment troubleshooting, providing an opportunity to work closely with various teams and external suppliers.
Hard Skills

• Bachelors in Engineering
• 1+ years of relevant experience internship/co-op or post graduation
• Robotic Welding, Welding, Machining experience from a Manufacturing environment
• Tooling/Fixture Design experience - Design for Manufacturing

Soft Skills

• Mechanical Aptitute
• Project Management
• Problem Solving
• Team Collaboration

Work Environment

The candidate will split their time between the manufacturing floor and office, engaging in both hands-on and supervisory roles to support ongoing and new projects
