Job Title: Warehouse Tasker

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders
- Monitor and move workload through the warehouse management system
- Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory issues
- Schedule inbound carriers and update outbound shipping schedule
- Generate and analyze system reports to evaluate shift progress
- Communicate verbally and in writing with associates and customers
- Work productively within a dynamic team environment
- Prioritize tasks and handle conflicting priorities
- Follow work procedures and safety rules
- Read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
- Communicate directly with carriers to ensure seamless transactions
- Review and process shipping notices transmitted via EDI
- Oversee the exchange of parcel shipments with carriers
- Resolve data transmission failures/errors with IT and procurement teams
- Interface with IT contacts in case of system-related barriers
- Provide complete communication at the end of each shift
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic warehouse operations
- Familiarity with distribution/warehousing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to make decisions based on instructions and guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
