Job Title: Tax Analyst - Decatur, IL Department/Function: Finance, Accounting, Audit Job Description: TAX ANALYST - Decatur, IL Job Description: The ADM Tax Department has an opening for an entry level Tax Analyst. This position will learn all aspects of direct taxation, including federal, state and international areas. The candidate will assist with data gathering and analysis, tax computations, form preparation, filing and audit support. In addition, this position will support the tax provision, regularly review tax regulations and perform tax research pertaining to ADM business transactions to ensure compliance and reporting obligations are complete and accurate. The job will provide broad exposure to all of ADM’s business divisions and legal entities, as well as exposure to the other corporate departments, including accounting, finance, legal and operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with accounting emphasis. CPA or advanced degree a plus, but not required. Strong team player, dependable, positive attitude and desire for continuous learning Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to function independently and decisively. Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities to meet established deadlines. Knowledge of ADM accounting systems (HFM, IBM, JDE, and SAP) a strong plus Proficient with MS Office Suite Familiarity with electronic tax research tools (e.g. RIA, BNA, CCH) and tax compliance software (e.g. CorpTax) a plus
