Job Description: GDIT is seeking an experienced, innovation-focused Program Manager to lead support for network operations within a critical DHS Component. The PM will be responsible for leading the team that provides operations and support services including service desk support, NOC support, NOSC management support, and critical network maintenance support. The PM will also be responsible for leading support and innovation activities for ServiceNow, security efforts, and configuration management and documentation activities. In addition, the PM is also responsible for leading the integration of future technologies, identifying opportunities to bring innovation to the program, and leading the introduction of service improvements in coordination with the customer and GDIT's CTO organization.
US CITIZENSHIP required. Candidate must be local to the National Capital Region and able to work onsite in the Washington, DC office. This program supports a 24x7x365 Service Desk and NOSC and provides support for multiple mission-critical activities. The successful candidate will have the following desired qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience performing on government contracts in a leadership role.
- A consultative mindset with a focus on continual service improvement, innovation, and technology lifecycle planning.
- A customer and people-centered mindset.
- Experience with large scale planning and work management techniques such as Scaled Agile (SAFe) and ITIL.
- Technical expertise in networking and infrastructure architecture, protocols, management tools, and cloud environments.
- Ability to lead teams of network engineers and support teams, NOC staff, and incident response teams.
- Experience managing network and infrastructure upgrade projects, migrations, or expansions, including both on-premise and cloud network environments.
- Knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring techniques.
Key position requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science
- Experience managing government contracts exceeding $10M/year, and with >40 FTEs in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Experience providing management oversight of multiple concurrent project activities across multiple Information Technology disciplines.
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods for Information Technology used throughout DHS and similar agencies.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
- Knowledge of or IT Operations Center functions and processes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate and perform multiple assignments.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience working independently to resolve complex issues.
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust / EOD and receive a favorable customer suitability determination.
- May be able to work remote as authorized by the government.

The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
