Sr. Network Engineer
Location : Offutt AFB, NE
Clearance : Top Secret / Eligible for SCI
Qualifications :
Minimum of eight (8) years experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE). In lieu of SE experience, a Masters degree in any engineering discipline or Computer Science may be substituted for three (3) years of SE experience. A Bachelors degree in any engineering discipline or Computer Science may be substituted for one (1) year of SE experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of documented training or experience relevant to designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities that comply with DoD cybersecurity policies and regulations.
At least five (5) years' experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher (equivalent industry level executives is acceptable).
Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillsets, and experience with designing, implementing and sustaining Enterprise network infrastructure solutions utilizing modern hardware and software-defined networking components and solutions.
Experience with current automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment to include metrics and monitoring.
Associated knowledge in related networking technologies including IP Address Management (IPAM), load- balancers, firewalls, proxies, taps, etc.
An active intermediate or higher Networking Vendor certification (i.e.: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Juniper Junos Associate, etc.) shall be required.
