The TPM group sits within Global Technology Solutions (GTS) managing the delivery of technology programs for Gap, Inc. The OCM team facilitates the people side of technology-related changes across Gap, Inc. by enabling adoption and sustainability of process changes, system rollouts and related organizational changes, with the goal of profitably growing Gap, Inc. As the Senior Director of OCM, you will lead the OCM team, focusing on enabling and measuring sustainable change associated with Portfolio programs and within GTS itself, including assessing and articulating the level of change needed for business processes, technology, and related roles. Your primary responsibility will be defining the Operating Model - methodology, governance framework and tooling for change management and aligning the GTS organization to partner with you and your OCM leaders to execute change management strategies. These strategies will equip our global teams with the awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement needed to maximize technology adoption, minimize business disruption, and strengthen our institutional change acumen. You will oversee OCM for all of our Portfolio domains and for the GTS transformation and will lead a senior team of change management professionals (which you will build) that focus on these domains. These domains include Stores, Digital Platform Tools, Product to Market (supply chain - inbound & outbound logistics and distribution center, design, sourcing, merchandising, inventory management, production, etc.), Corporate Enterprise functions (HR, Finance, Real Estate, Legal, Asset Protection, Communications, etc.) and GTS itself. Key stakeholders include Product Management, Engineering, Data & Analytics, Technical Program Management, TechOps, InfoSec and Strategy & Governance. What You'll Do Build and lead a team of talented OCM professionals to ensure effective execution of change to technology processes, priorities, and initiatives. Create a culture of engagement and collaboration, supporting professional development and continuous learning for team members. Oversee comprehensive change management strategies, governance, and execution across all technology initiatives that GTS drives. Transform behaviors and embed new ways of working. Maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders in the business, Product Management, Technical Program Management, and senior GTS leadership. Interface with all levels of GTS management. Work as coach and internal change consultant to senior business and GTS leadership. Inspire stakeholders to be change agents for the programs and drive accountability. Cultivate partnership, idea sharing, active listening and advocacy with peers, facilitating new connections and relationship building. Be results-oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability to drive business value through successful technology adoption. Ensure a cost-optimized approach to change management. Who You Are Proven ability to lead a high performing change management team at scale - delivering across multiple programs in different technical domains simultaneously. Change management skills, experience as a leader and strategic thinker, exemplifying effective communication and planning skills. 15+ years' work experience - primarily in the change management space, including leading change management teams delivering multiple projects, often with complex scope and with system and process implementation characteristics. Deep foundational understanding and experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Ability to identify, recruit and develop/mentor change management talent. Anticipates obstacles, offers solutions, identifies resources, builds relationships, and influences others to move toward a common vision or goal. Proven track record of collaborating with a range of cross-functional teams, successfully worked through others, and ability to establish strong relationships. Ability to influence and clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences including presenting to multiple levels of an organization and executive leadership. Solid understanding of how people experience change, and how change management affects their experience. Experience in technology-related change within a retail space is a strong plus. Salary Range: $202,700 - $278,800 USD Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
