Prestige Staffing is hiring for a Senior Accountant with a CPA for a wonderful facility with excellent benefits. This facility if very involved in the community and looking for someone who wants to make an impact. This is a permanent position and has great potential for growth. 

Schedule : M-F, 8a-5p
Location : Onsite, Chattanooga, TN. 
Pay : $70K-$100K (Depending on experience)

Job Summary:

• This position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Accounting to the annual external audits and tax filing requirements.
• The position will provide support in the routine closing process and ensures deadlines are met for financial reporting.
• Handles high volume of transactions, prepares complex account reconciliations and has significant involvement in financial activity/analysis (as assigned). 
• Other responsibilities include the development and maintenance of analytical and departmental reports and ensuring compliance with current accounting standards.
• The position is responsible for providing direction to other Accountants to ensure the financial statements are accurately presented and records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.
• Performs research and analysis of financial statement activity.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant
• MBA or Masters with concentration in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Healthcare is helpful not required
• General ledger experience
• High-level financial projections and cash flow forecasting
• Experience running month end close and year end audits

Duties:

• Assists the Finance executives and the Manager of Accounting in the preparation/maintenance of the general ledger
• Primary contact for the annual external Audits and Tax filing preparations
• Performs research and analysis of financial statement activity
• Handles high volume of transactions, prepares complex account reconciliations and has significant involvement in the monthly general ledger closing process or related activity/analysis
