We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Software Developer (Senior) to join our team in Washington, DC.

You will be working in an organization thats mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.

The Software Developer (Senior) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to design and deliver on premises and cloud-based applications. The Software Developer (Senior) is responsible for developing codes, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. The Software Developer (Senior) works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
2. Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
3. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
4. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
5. May assist in development of software user manuals.
6. Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Minimum of 8 years experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Requirements:

1. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience
3. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
4. In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements

Clearance Required:

Top Secret with SCI eligibility
