About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for People Operations to lead a team responsible for the organization's core HR functions. This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth administration of critical HR functions and leading efforts to align policies and practices with the company's values and long-term strategies. The successful candidate will be a champion for supporting people to achieve great organizational outcomes, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key responsibilities include managing compensation, benefits, HRIS, and background checks, as well as leading broad HR initiatives, promoting professional growth, and ensuring that the team's policies and practices are in line with the company's mission. Applicants for this role at the company should have at least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in HR, ideally in senior-level roles, and a proven track record of centering equity in decision-making. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience in diverse, national-scope organizations and a commitment to mission-driven work, particularly in support of marginalized communities, are highly valued. The role requires the ability to travel occasionally and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading and supporting major organizational changes and restructuring efforts and will be a strategic partner in the long-term success and sustainability of the organization.
