About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) for Corporate Communications. The SVP will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the brand narrative. This includes crafting a wide range of key internal and external communications, leading various projects such as press releases, media alerts, and crisis management, and proactively working to secure media opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in corporate and/or crisis communications, preferably within the entertainment industry, and must demonstrate a strong network of media relationships. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of advising top executives and managing external clients and partners. Key responsibilities for the SVP include managing box office press, overseeing the preparation of written communications, and working closely with the publicity team in crisis situations. The successful candidate will also be expected to partner with various teams across the division, including marketing, special projects, and programming, to provide communications support. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being a plus, and the candidate should have a proven track record of crafting and delivering effective messages.
