Our organization, a leading player in the healthcare industry, is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the following areas:

  • Design, build, and manage our data infrastructure using Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other leading technologies.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and data sets using Python, SQL, and Apache.
  • Utilize Fivetran, Delta Lake, and other tools to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data throughout our systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create and maintain optimal data delivery architecture.
  • Develop and implement data governance and security measures.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools to create insightful, user-friendly interfaces for our data.
  • Develop and maintain JAR (Java Archive) files and related applications.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify ways to improve our data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand and address their data needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and apply this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Engineer position will have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years' experience in a Data Engineer or similar role (9 years' experience for non-degreed).
  • Proven experience with Azure, Python, Delta Lake, Fivetran, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Power BI, Tableau, JAR, SQL, Java Archive, Apache, or
equivalent technologies.
  • Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data governance and data security.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, but not required.
