The Senior Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity of medical record documentation by reviewing inpatient records and collaborating with clinical providers to obtain missing information. This role includes supporting educational initiatives, performing data analysis, and mentoring lower-level staff to enhance documentation quality. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across various healthcare departments to improve patient care outcomes.
