ESI is now hiring an School Counselor in the Columbus, OH area for the 2025-2026 school year.

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESI is seeking a School Counselor who will be responsible for planning and maintaining an effective school counseling program and assist students with academic, career, and personal/ social skills. The School Counselor will work with elementary age and/or middle school students

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field
• Prior Similar Experience
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, push a cart, or lift during the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, including small packages and supplies

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and maintain an effective school counseling program.
• Communicate the goals of the comprehensive school counseling program with students, staff and parents.
• Assist all students, individually or in groups, with developing academic, career and personal/social skills, goals and plans.
• Complete reports as required by Federal, State and local agencies.
• Collaborate and communicate with parents/guardians, and other educators to assist the students.
• Participate in school meetings, staff meetings and committees as needed.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Imagine Schools Six Measures of Excellence in the execution of duties.
• Model positive character virtues and habits.
• Assist students in developing positive moral and performance character attributes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Principal/School Leader.
