Job Description

In your role as Public Relations/Social Media Specialist, you'll be responsible for increasing our visibility and trust among consumers through targeted public relations efforts. You'll work with the Communications team and agency partners to execute corporate communications campaigns and initiatives.

• B2B Public relations and corporate social media experience – ideally healthcare or another B2B regulated environment
• Strong understanding of media landscape
• Resourceful problem-solving
• Clear and confident written and oral communication
• Attention to detail, while running with multiple projects simultaneously
• Great project management and time management skills
• Flexible mindset and enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Strong desire for on-the-job learning and growth

Responsibilities include:

• Identify areas of commercial news interest based on news cycles and trends
• Manage incoming media requests and triage appropriately
• Generate media lists
• Work with associate director, corporate social media to build content calendar and identify opportunities for both external and internal engagement
• Social media monitoring
• Collaborate closely with external agency partners to pursue appropriate opportunities
• Manage calendar summarizing campaigns, activities, interviews, and content

Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of B2B and/or healthcare industry communications/social media experience
• Exceptional aptitude shaping an effective message and telling a compelling story
• Highly collaborative team player
• Flexibility and energy to confidently adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Intellectual curiosity to see and explore new possibilities, and creatively problem solve A self-starter with a can-do/entrepreneurial, impact-driven, and accountable mindset
• Strong communication skills that facilitate clear and effective information sharing
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism preferred
