Position Overview:
The Tax Collector Business Analyst role is crucial in providing top-tier customer support and ensuring our products meet our client's needs. This is a full-time, in-office position in Rocklin, California. Travel may be required to attend trade shows and conferences throughout the year. In-office training is a requirement for the position, and the job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate:
We seek motivated self-starters with technical experience, preferably in a software support environment. Entry-level applicants with relevant education or experience are encouraged to apply. The individual should work well in a team setting designed to address the technical needs of property tax software users. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn quickly are essential. Candidates should have a willingness to adapt and grow within our organization. In-person training is provided and essential to fulfill the requirements of the job.

• Fast learner with solid information retention.
• Ability to train others, both face-to-face and remotely via Zoom, Teams, etc.
• Ability to prioritize and shift between multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn new information and challenge yourself.
• The role does not involve direct reports.

Specialized skills which are helpful but not essential:

• Prior experience working in a California County Tax Collector's Department specializing in Property Tax, Accounting, and Administration in areas such as Trust Activities, Bankruptcy, Transient Occupancy Tax, Collections, Tax Code Rates, etc.
• Financial background.
• Software testing background.
• User training experience.
• SQL Database experience.
