Description
Product Support Technician You will be responsible for evaluating products returned from the field or rejected by manufacturing to establish if they are used and/or are malfunctioning and provide the likely disposition of the product in coordination with quality personnel.
Malfunctioning products may require a component replacement, including soldering electronic components to PCBs and other assemblies. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and effective collaboration with the engineering and quality teams to ensure the functionality, reliability and compliance of BioPhotas products.
Responsibilities - Fault finding and identification of problems in Celluma devices
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Perform precise soldering of electronic components on PCBs.
- Inspect and test soldered connections for quality assurance in accordance with IPC-610
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to ensure safety.
- Document and report any defects or discrepancies found during the soldering process.
- Disposition repaired products in accordance with established procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with processing NCRs.
- Repair and/or evaluate customer returned devices in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications - ITI or IPC-610 certification in soldering in electronics or related field.
- Experience in soldering and electronic assembly.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and circuits.
- Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines.
