MBS is hiring a Powder Coater in Dayton, KY. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Apply powder coating to metal surfaces using electrostatic spray guns or other application methods.
• Monitor and adjust coating equipment for proper flow and consistency.
• Ensure proper curing of the powder coating by following specified time and temperature guidelines.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete powder coating orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of coatings and chemicals.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of different types of coatings, application methods, and curing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot coating issues.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to comply with them at all times.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
