Responsibilities:
The Physician Liaison (SNF) develops and expands the patient referral base to grow UVVC clinic business by specifically calling on skilled nursing facilities / nursing homes and other related clinics or medical offices.
Contributes to the UVVC business plan and strategy in close partnership with the Physician Liaison Market Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Business Development.
Develops and expands SNF (Skilled Nursing Facilities) referral base to grow designated UVVC clinic business.
Continuously reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and reports on various information and data regarding existing product performance and potential development opportunities.
Educates new and existing physician contacts on services offered by UVVC.
Maintains image of UVVC in the target community as cutting-edge experts on the treatment of vein disease.
Oversees efforts to ensure UVVC is positioned competitively to protect and grow market share. This includes routine analysis of the strengths and services of competitors.
Identifies physician referral opportunities within the medical community through research and prospecting.
Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits in person, or through emails and phone calls.
Provides information and branded messages to physicians on UVVC products and services.
Identifies and coordinates speaking opportunities within skilled nursing facilities and other medical offices/clinics.
Identifies strategies to promote provider engagement and collaboration, including new provider orientation, office visits, social events, referral dinners, CEUs, etc.
Utilizes networking opportunities to nurture relationships with local community organizations/small businesses and increase advocacy of UVVC within the territory.

Maintains the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations. PHI is a top priority of our organization.

Qualifications:
Must have a proven and verifiable track record of success calling on SNF’s (skilled nursing facilities) / nursing homes within the market to which you are applying.
Must have existing relationships with SNF’s and nursing homes within the market.
Strong work ethic and customer focus.
Very strong relationship building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Energetic and outgoing personality with an affinity for engaging with the public.
Ability to focus on new business development, as well as continued contact with current business.
Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
CRM software experience a plus (Salesforce).
Demonstrated success working independently and without close supervision.
Able to maintain professional conduct in all work-related and/or emergent situations.
Able to embrace and adapt to new system technologies to support the business.
Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
Must be able to provide proof of acceptable auto policy liability coverage limits of $100k for bodily injury per person, $300k for bodily injury per accident, and $50k for property damage.
