In this position, you are responsible for providing therapy services for individuals, children, families or groups regarding mental health concerns using evaluative techniques and developing and implementing treatment plans in our outpatient clinic. You will be responsible to complete all required paperwork timely to ensure quality care for the individuals served.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, crisis interventions, treatment planning with evidence-based therapy interventions, and discharge planning to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
- Adhere to HIPPA regulations and abide by ethical standards and code of conduct as described by clinical therapists licensing board as well as agency standards as followed by AAMFT ethical guidelines.
- Generate and maintain accurate clinical records including progress notes, clinical intake paperwork, treatment plans, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Prepares reports such as, but not limited to court reports, outpatient treatment reports, disability paperwork, and EAP forms.
- Make collateral contacts, consult with other therapists and related professionals, and provide referral resources to appropriate service agencies.
- Meet established individual and agency productivity goals by managing no-call no-show appointments while upholding TFC standard of care.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, and participating in team meetings, agency-provided trainings, and supervisory sessions.
- Manage schedule by maintaining appointments and no-call no show rates.
- Ability to read and follow protocols, and training plan.
- Utilize strong computer skills, word, excel, Etc
- Being able to utilize agency EHR program.
- Clinically document services provided in accordance with legal, ethical with specific insurance requirements.
- Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately in ethical standards, and in compliance with protocols.
- Maintain all requirements associated with licensure, including but not limited to CEU requirements as outlined by licensing board regulations.
- Compliance with Employee Handbook, & General Policy Procedure Handbook, and Standard
- Comply with credentialing and documentation
- Maintain licensure
- Accurately submit CPT coding necessary documentation for billing.
- Keep in your possession panic buttons
- Follow Legal and Ethical Guidelines set forth by the New Mexico Counseling Board.
- Coordinate with colleagues re: clinical room assignment and case consultation.
- Maintain Standard of Excellence of each office
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Education Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited institution and a valid New Mexico Licensure (LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT), Non-Independent licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply!
