Play Street Museum in Plano, TX is looking for one museum sales associate to join our strong team. We are located on 5964 West Parker Rd 120.

Play Street Museum (PSM) is a clean, upscale, and educationally focused children’s museum where kids eight and under are entertained in a stimulating learning environment of creative and dramatic play.

Our vision at Play Street Museum is to inspire the world through play and our mission is to provide superior quality play and educational experiences for young children and their families.

Our PSM Associates succeed when we 'show up and bring our energy' to engage our guests and kiddos in a friendly and helpful way, and make sure each one has a great experience'.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in person and while answering the phone.
• Greets every customer and makes sure they understand play by reservation and assuring guest are checked in. 
• Maintains all areas of the museum, by making sure toys are picked up and ready for kids to play safe. 
• Providing a clean environment by making sure the cleaning list is being done and toys are being sanitized. 
• Opening and closing the museum. 
• Maintain all companies safety procedures.
• Knowledgeable about all Play Street Museum activities and events. 
• Hosting Birthday Parties, guiding the party and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and has strong communication skills  
• Ability to maintain scheduling commitments.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand up and bend over repeatedly while putting toys away.
• Must have a clear background check.
