Metal Fabricator

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Metal Fabrication, Metal Cutting, Metal Fab, and Metal Finishing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and assembling metal products for various industries as well as performing repairs on existing metal structures.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
Operate metalworking machines to cut, bend, drill, shape, and form pieces of metal
Weld, braze, or solder metal parts together using various techniques
Perform finishing work on metal products, including sanding, grinding, and polishing
Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required specifications
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure they are working properly
Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
Proficiency in Metal Fabrication, Metal Cutting, Metal Fab, corrugated steel, and Metal Finishing
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Experience operating metalworking machinery and equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
