Store Development designs, builds, and maintains beautiful locations in some of the most coveted real estate in North America. We bring the physical expression of our brand to life by keeping client experience at the forefront of our decision-making processes and ensuring the success of our locations by managing cost, quality, and schedule.

Your role at Sephora:

As the Manager of Environmental Health & Safety, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment for our offices and retail stores. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Workplace Operations, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and policies. Your efforts will ensure that the company not only meets but exceeds all applicable regulations and standards, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. In addition, you will:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and policies to drive standardization and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify risks, ensure compliance, and maintain up-to-date records and performance metrics.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement within the EHS framework.
• Provide EHS training and education to employees at all levels, ensuring effective communication of EHS policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of operations and overall business processes.
• Coordinate the development and execution of emergency response plans and training programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing all EHS-related reporting requirements for the US region.
• Manage the regional EHS budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and support continuous improvement initiatives.

We’re excited about you if you have:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of dynamic EHS experience, with at least 3-5 years in a regional or multi-site management role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and a comprehensive understanding of general employee health and safety best practices.
• A proven track record of successfully implementing EHS programs and initiatives.
• The ability to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the delivery of long-term organizational objectives.
• A proven ability to influence others, drive change, and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic and evolving environments, effectively navigating through uncertain situations, and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Skills in maintaining team morale and motivation during times of ambiguity, empowering team members to contribute their insights and creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas, expectations, and feedback clearly and effectively.

The annual base salary range for this position is $114,750.00 - $128,250.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
