City: Rockport State: ME Start Date: N/A End Date: N/A Duration: N/A Weeks Shift: N/A Day shift Description: Pen Bay Medical Center is looking for a Locums PA/NP with Orthopedics experience to fill Full Time need Ideal Candidate: PA or NP with orthopedics experience. PA preferred. Ideal candidate is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment as this position is primarily covering clinic. However there are opportunities that will arise for the APP to act as First Assist in the OR as well. Great communication skills and a team player are essential. Schedule: Desired Start date: Start August 2025 we will schedule a year-long assignment but will accept 6 months with option to extendPotential Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday office/OR hours plus callSplit inpatient and ambulatory role with majority of time being spent in ambulatory/clinic setting.Call Schedule: 1:4 call rotation with first call backed by a Name: MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine RockportExpected Patient Volume in office per week: 60 patients per weekExpected Patient Volume in hospital per week: 3-7 patients per weekPractice Type: Single SpecialtyClinic staffing info: 3 surgeons 3 APPs 6 MAs 3 PSRs 2 Rad Techs 1 Triage RNCulture of the practice: This practice is fast paced and has a strong focus on patient centered care. Everyone the surgeons the APPs the MAs the Radiology Techs and the PSRs takes the time to support patients while still maintaining a high throughput of patients.
