What you’ll be doing

• Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of services.
• Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and documentation, including test cases and test scripts.
• Oversee end-to-end testing processes, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Execute manual and automated testing within AWS environments, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Utilize AWS services (such as AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) in the testing environment to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing direction and support in their career growth.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospective meetings to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on features from a quality perspective.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience as a QA Lead, with a strong understanding of leadership in managing QA teams.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and others.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and related tools.
• Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers to promote personal and team growth.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment and on multiple tasks
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
