Jr. Cyber Analyst at Randstad US in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Jr. Cyber Analyst, IT Security: An ideal candidate for this role will be engaging, possess a strong balance between technical expertise and business acumen, and embrace opportunities to become a difference maker in a constantly evolving global organization. The successful candidate selected for this entry level role will work closely with a cross-functional group of risk stakeholders to perform assigned information security (IS) tasks and activities, supporting Information Security functions of governance, risk and compliance; security architecture and engineering; and threat and vulnerability management. This role will also be called upon to participate and provide input to help execute the agenda of the global security organization. This position will report to the various Information Security Managers within Randstad NA. What you get to do: + Gain a basic knowledge and understanding of security risk management frameworks (specifically, ISO 27001-27002, SOC 2) requirements and standards + Develop control standards documentation for IT Security best practices, by identifying subject matter experts within IT and working with them to develop appropriate IT based security standards. + Develop IT security procedures to support IT policies and critical standards (i.e. incident response, change management, user access management). + Conduct user access reviews against the IT infrastructure and critical business applications + Assist in the continuous development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the security training and awareness education program + Assist operations team in handling Tier 1-2 security tickets, by utilizing Randstad ticketing applications + Create and/or update technical documents such as network architecture diagrams, as a liaison to Data Owners on any IT infrastructure and application updates What you need to bring: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + Information Security related certification(s) preferred (Security+, etc) + Basic understanding of information technology and cyber security + Experience working with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and having the ability to incorporate formulas, using various macros tools (ex.vlookup, compare data etc.) + Understanding of operating systems, infrastructures, and network protocols + Willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and be a team player. + Critical thinking and analysis skills with the ability to crea To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account Idaho State Job Bank
