As the Head Brewer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, expertise, and leadership skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.As the Head Brewer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brewing process, from recipe development to production and quality control. You will work closely with our brewing team to create high-quality and unique beers that will delight our customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing inventory, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.Responsibilities: Develop and execute brewing recipes that meet our quality standards and customer preferencesLead and mentor the brewing team, providing guidance and support as neededManage inventory levels and order brewing ingredients and suppliesMaintain equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safetyImplement quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in our beersCollaborate with other departments to support marketing and sales initiativesStay current on industry trends and innovations to drive continuous improvementManage brewery side sales for internal and external accounts, including creating and processing invoices, familiarity with Finntech systems, and managing the in-house brewery inventory system.Maintaining logistical operations for the various state-wide stores under the FHG umbrella, distributing kegs for retail to the other storefronts, coordinating with other managers throughout the company to move various necessary items to their desired location.Diagnosing issues with/scheduling R&M for external brewery operations equipment, including the delivery vehicle, CO2 and Nitrogen supply, and the mixed gas equipment.Maintaining good relations with the Indiana Brewer's Guild, coordinating personnel, equipment, and product for brewery festivals, and ensuring beer is supplied to various state, national, and international beer competitions.
