The product range is distributed in Supermarkets, Clubs, and Specialty Stores across the country. Overview You will be the principal strategist of the US arm of the company, devising action plans for the execution of major priorities according to group guidelines. You will motivate staff in reaching target objectives and orchestrate the coordination of the US team (Sales, Food Service, Retail) by defining and maximizing customer development opportunities for the Company's brands, in order to meet distribution, growth, and profit targets across sales channels. A passionate leader that motivates, trains, and coaches a network of Managers across the whole country with a passion for the brands and their product lines. You will develop effective commercial insights that are enthusiastically shared with the sales force and can be pragmatically executed to increase sales. Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and an ability to build accurate Strategic Plans that serve as a northern star for the Sales Force to perform against are a critical part of the role. Responsibilities Actively develops the business with Regional and National Key Accounts by securing product listing and increasing distribution. Delivers customer-specific sales and financial targets, and drives market share in line with corporate objectives. Actively supports the development of the business with retail Customers across the whole country, by identifying growth opportunities and defining pragmatic execution plans. Builds an overall Yearly Business Plan, and specific Customer Plans, grounded in analytics that serve as a yardstick of business performance. Proactively suggests new product listings, distribution expansion, promotion improvements, consumer events, and commercial investments to maximize brand awareness, visibility, and sales performance. Develops product launch plans, customer-specific shelf layouts, in-store activation material, promotional innovations, and coordinates 3P agencies where required. Monitors the progress against Plan and defines corrective actions. Assists Sales Force in the development of compelling sales pitches with analytics and customer insights, and takes part in key Customer negotiations. Becomes the reference point, gathers best practices and creates support tools to select high-performing Brokers and Distributors, lead them with a clear performance plan, review their performance, and define corrective actions on an ongoing basis. Trains and coaches the Sales Force to overperform against the objectives set out in the Customer Plans, and is perceived as a reliable partner that displays strategic thinking as much as pragmatic execution. Collaborates with internal company resources (Sales Director, Trade Marketing, Finance, Operations) to ensure flawless end-to-end Customer execution. Becomes an active ambassador for the brands and their products. A compelling presenter, able to communicate in a concise and effective way. What Are We Looking For: 15+ years of Sales and Marketing / Trade Marketing experience. Demonstrates a solid track record from previous roles. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. An entrepreneur – one who can think and behave like a business owner. Strong strategic and tactical planning ability. Highly developed organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and forge partnerships across a diverse population of individuals and companies. Proficient with the whole Microsoft Office suite. Location: Northeast Travel Requirements : Travel may be necessary 50% of the time.
