Job Description

The role will be a Generalist to supplement the growing responsibility of the Divisional Finance Department. This opportunity will be part Consolidations Accountant, part Financial Analysist, and part Senior Accountant.  For someone looking to diversify their corporate finance skill set this is the perfect role! This position will be an office role for our Dallas Headquarters.

 

• Consolidation Accountant

• • Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactions and the Company’s books and records
  • Respond to inquiries from external auditors
  • Reporting support as needed
• Financial Analyst
  • Budget and financial analysis 
  • Assist in regular monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure accurate reporting of financials.
  • Budget development support and analysis; populate systems with entity budgets for reporting purposes
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Senior Accountant
  • Aid in Coordinating and overseeing an efficient and timely monthly financial close process
  • Prepare Journal Entries
  • Prepare Accruals with supporting calculations/documentation
  • Performs analysis on income statement and balance sheets accounts
  • Assist the team in identifying special accounting issues and performing necessary research to ensure compliance

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Prior AMS and accounting software knowledge
• Positive attitude
• BA or BS in Finance or accounting
• Three – four years in an Accounting or Financial Analyst role
