What’s a typical day as a Fish ID Technician? You’ll be:

• Performing routine fish ID duties, including fin clipping, coded-wire tagging, body tagging, elastomer and freeze brand marking, and other required markings.

• Assisting the lead/hatchery staff in various duties, such as inspection for marking quality, trailer setup, and fish transfer.

• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee-used areas.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Are comfortable working with fish and performing fish marking tasks.

• Are able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Have the ability to assist with employment paperwork.
