We're looking for an Education Coordinator, someone who's ready to grow with our company. In this position manage interdisciplinary clinical learning and performance improvement initiatives and to
improve clinical performance with The Center or manage and train internal staff with multifunctional roles on federal, state, and organizational standards related to the managed care model of providing the full spectrum of healthcare support used in the medical management of members and patients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•Plans, designs, develops, markets, and implements learning interventions that facilitate application of learning in the workplace as measured by documents developed participant feedback and peer and supervisor observation.
•Demonstrates effective presentation skills.
•Provides educational programs and ensures the program content is consistently relevant to target audience's job duties, based on principles of adult learners.
•Ensures that measurable learning objectives are demonstrated for all continuing educational programs.
•Coordinates or facilitates coordination of the implementation of cost-effective learning interventions/modules as measured by the cost of programs developed and implemented.
•Provides classroom learning facilitation that provides for the application of key learning concepts into practice, as measured by participant feedback and peer and supervisor observation.
•Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of learning interventions/modules and compiles and reports findings along with appropriate next steps, as measured by participant feedback, manager feedback, cost worksheets, and/or peer and supervisor observation and performance outcomes.
•Ensures 80% of post program reports indicate the program objectives were met.
•Documents and reports outcomes of learning interventions/modules and demonstrates continuous improvements in outcomes as measured by peer and supervisor observation.
•Plans, designs, develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates departmental and interdisciplinary learning interventions to meet priority learning needs and demonstrate an improvement in performance.
•Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients/families, visitors, peers, and other health care team members.
•Collaborates with content experts to develop the curriculum scope.
•Forms a partnership with the leadership team and staff to improve performance gaps identified through performance improvement data and other data as measured by management feedback and supervisor observation.
•Individualizes orientee's initial orientation plan based on orientee's identified learning needs as indicated.
•Collaborates with stakeholders and leaders across the system regarding the preceptor program.
•Prioritizes and delegates effectively as evidenced by completion of required activities within designated timelines with minimal supervision.
•Serves as the coordinator for student and learner placements for the various health care and allied health schools.

Skills & Requirements
•Required bachelor's degree Nursing
•Required RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact
•Required BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association within two (2) months of entering the position and maintained thereafter.
•Preferred BLS-I - Cert-BLS Instructor American Heart Association
•Required 3 years Clinical nursing experience and/or Department of Rehabilitative Services (DARS) experience
