Currently,
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented
CNO Data SME to join our team in San Antonio, TX, in support of the Air Force's Unified Platform (UP) program. This is a hybrid work position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Serve as CNO Data SME for UP and responsible for applying associated standards for an integrated set of technologies, and processes to ingest, store, share, enrich, manage, and analyze authoritative data sources in support of offensive and defense operations with intelligence and mission partners (to include private sector).
- Apply SME guidance in the implementation of the UP Data Fabric for big data management and system-of-system federation of data and interoperability.
- Develop and design software/database systems for multiple hardware platforms and multiple software systems.
- Apply Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) techniques and algorithms to achieve UP Data objectives and enhance current capabilities.
- Oversee technical requirements and the development of the conceptual and detailed design of UP Data applications in consideration to:
- Deployment of commercial or open source software
- Development of custom software
- System configuration modifications
- Debugging and optimization
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, tester, operators, and customer program management to ensure quality product deliverable.
- Work within a Scaled Agile Framework Team environment.
- Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation such as charts and graphs to record and present results.
- Explain complex issues to others in a manner that facilitates informed decision making.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining big data platforms/fabrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience executing Data Operations for big data applications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with DevOps / DevSecOps implementations. - Demonstrated expertise with ML/AI technologies and implementing Large Language Models (LLMs) for Generative AI.
- Demonstrated work experience with container, orchestration, container platform, and service mesh technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio.
- Demonstrated work experience with DevSecOps technologies such as GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Fortify, SonarQube, Twistlock, Grafana, etc.
- Demonstrated work experience with database and data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cloudera, Prometheus, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
- Demonstrated work experience with source control and code repository tools.
- Demonstrated work experience developing solutions integrating and extending open source/GOTS/COTS products.
- Experience supervising technical personnel.
- Experience with technical requirements analysis, dependency resolution, risk management, task tracking, and schedule management.
- Experience interfacing with customer leadership, user community members, and teams of software developers.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience working within a DoD organization.
- Experience with DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture and Guidelines
- Experience with a Cyber component of the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA).
- Experience with Big Data Platforms.
- Experience with cATO and CtF processes.
- Experience with Team Topologies concepts, team organization, and interaction modes.
- Experience with conflict resolution and team building.
- Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing to present technical details to audiences of varying technical depth.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certification.
- Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) certification.
- Kubernetes certification.
Clearance Requirements: - US Citizenship required
- Minimum TS/SCI-eligible clearance required
Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100-$234,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
