Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times. Maintains 310 Provisions sushi standards and specifications related to food preparation and food handling on a daily basis, understands measurement requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares, seasons, and cooks to order menu items for all meals throughout the day, including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner meal periodsAbility/Knowledge on use of grill, gas range, electric range, broiler, deep fat fryer, serving table, waffle iron, griddle, skillets, and other standard kitchen equipment.Prepares all breakfast items to order, (including eggs any style), meats, fish, poultry, and vegetables, to be fried, broiled or grilledKnowledge and understanding of basic temperatures and food safetyPrepares exhibition omelets, pastas, sandwiches and pizzasMay be assigned as an attendant at a carving stationResponsible for ensuring food is cooked to proper standards.Cleans kitchen equipment and practices all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures.Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.Performs other duties as assigned.Skills and QualificationsPassion for Culinary and delighting our Guests with food!Minimum 2 years experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume productionCulinary Education Degree or equivalent experience required with less than 2 years experienceMust be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this roleProficient knife skillsProven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminologyProven ability to read and understand recipesOrganizational skills; Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced team environmentSpeed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressureAbility to adapt to production requirementsPreferred Education:Vocation School training or High School certificationCulinary Education Degree or equivalentCertification from CIA or equivalentBasic Wine KnowledgeRecommendation from schoolApply to Levy today!Levy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
