Job Details
Currently they are looking to add a Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper who can work out of their office in Ozark, AL.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file both current and prior years’, multi-state and federal income tax returns, for individuals and businesses by the IRS-established deadlines
Use comprehensive tax knowledge to execute tax strategies and maximize any potential benefits and deductions
Prepare financial statements for business clients
Reconcile and verify accuracy of accounts
Establish and cultivate relationships with clients and team members to provide the highest quality of service to our clients and determine the best ways of addressing their needs
Communicate with clients and team members in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service
Requirements:
2+ years' experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
2+ years' bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of tax rules and accounting procedures
Knowledge of tax preparation software and QuickBooks
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and highly-organized with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
