The Nordoff-Robbins Center for Music Therapy is seeking one Clinical Musician (guitar and/or piano) to conduct group sessions with music therapists and music therapy students on enhancing their musical skills and developing their clinical musicianship in a variety of musical styles from different cultures. The Clinical Musician will assess the development of participants? skills in the area of professional musical competencies required of music therapists.
Hours : 14 1-hour group meetings on a weekly basis for both fall and spring
In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary range for this position is $110.00 - $130.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with New York State License as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT); Five years of post-master?s clinical experience as a music therapist; Advanced skills on piano or guitar on multiple musical styles.
