Job Position: Carpentry Foreman

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Sioux City, IA 51105

Pay Rate: DOE

Job Summary:

Mon-Fri, 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our team. The Carpenter Foreman will oversee and manage all carpentry activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent carpentry skills, and the ability to coordinate and supervise a team of carpenters.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
• Assemble, fasten, and reinforce structures using various tools and techniques
• Install hardware components and devices, such as hinges, locks, and racks
• Ensure that all structures are level, plumb, and square
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that structures meet technical requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
