Job Description

Job Summary As our team’s bookkeeping manager, prioritized daily efforts will require solution-based planning, execution, and oversight of all fundamental aspects of all things accounting and vehicle administration departments. This position requires strong day-to-day managerial, organizational and critical thinking skills to properly execute a variety of tasks and responsibilities while adhering to well-established bookkeeping practices and accounting principles. Responsibilities

• Build, issue, organize and manage transactional-level documentation (statements, receipts, contracts, etc., hard and digital copy versions)
• Prepare, record, reconcile and report standardized bookkeeping practices (A/R, A/P, HR, banking, regulatory/licensing, etc.)
• Calculate, collect, remit and report sales, use, personal property and other miscellaneous tax filing activities
• Generate and maintain core inventory accounts, general ledgers and schedules (expense, profitability, depreciation, financing, etc.)
• Prepare and audit for regular financial statement creation support.
• Supervise and manage department-level personnel for optimized bookkeeping, titling and regulation process efficiency, reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and enhance financial gate keeping policies and processes
• Collaborate, build and evolve organizational-wide workflow processes to meet customer operation demands
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous Automotive Dealership bookkeeping preferred, 5+ years.
• Previous management experience, 2+ years
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Must be comfortable operating within an ever evolving and high-volume work environment.
