We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products. The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking our bagels. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake our hand rolled artisanal bagels, to a high standard.
- Follow recipes and use a variety of techniques to produce products with a consistent texture and flavor.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle and store food products safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure efficient production and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
- Continuously improve and refine recipes and techniques to meet customer preferences and industry standards.

Experience:

- Dough experience required

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a bakery or pastry shop.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience with food production and food handling practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Proven customer service skills.
- A passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Skills:

- Proficiency with a knife and other kitchen tools.
- Experience with baking and pastry preparation.
- Knowledge of food production and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with the food industry and culinary techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to prepare and present food products to a high standard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
