Babysitting Instructor s - Community School Program Instructors


Instructors are responsible for delivery of curriculum of Community School Programs for Preschool-Grade 8.



Dates: Training Nov 4 and Nov 6 6 to 9 pm. Training to prepare you to be an instructor. Flexible dates and hours to instruct the class. Each middle school will set up class time with instructor.



Location: Anoka Middle, Coon Rapids Middle, Jackson Middle, Northdale Middle, Oak View Middle, Roosevelt Middle



Duties include: Red Cross Babysitting Instructor - Class planning. Class curriculum will be provided. Provide student safety and program presentation. Perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Red Cross Certification required. (If you are not certified, Community Education will train you through the Red Cross to become an instructor.) Relevant work experience and previous experience. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working at the building/onsite.



Preferred Qualifications: Relevant work experience and previous experience with community school activities preferred. Advanced training or college degree preferred for instructor positions preferred. Previous experience working with middle school ages students preferred.
