POSITION:ASSISTANT PLANT SCHEDULER 

DEPARTMENT:Scheduling

LOCATION:Louisville, KY

SALARY CLASS:Salaried non-exempt

HOURS:

• 3:30 am to 12:00 pm – flexible as needed
• Saturday hours as needed/required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Coordinate and revise make sheets for 1st and or 2nd shifts, detailing amount and type of product to be made.Distribute the information to the appropriate personnel.
• Update the inventory list of available product and aged inventory
• Troubleshoot problems and concerns from corporate office sales.
• Arrange for appropriate reports to be faxed or delivered to corporate office on a daily basis.
• Work closely with plant management to notify of changes and keep appraised of problems.
• Attend meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive Knowledge Computer Skills
• Excellent telephone skills
• Communication skills – written and verbal
• Proficient with 10 key calculator
• Self-starter
• Knowledge of our industry
• Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
• Knowledge of our Industry
• Extensive knowledge of product codes and cuts of product
• Work 40+ hours per week in office environment and production setting

Education Requirements (if applicable)

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred.
