Brief overview of duties : The Department of Languages and Literature seeks well-qualified applicants to teach an
introductory course in creative writing (poetry) in spring 2024. The class will enroll students with no prior experience
writing poetry as well as ones with some background, so the successful applicant will be able to work with both groups
effectively. The modality for this class is
in person : all class sessions will be held at Benedictine's Lisle campus. Scheduling
is flexible, with teaching times available on either a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday schedule.

RequiredQualifications: Candidates must hold either a Master's degree or Ph.D.; MFA in creative writing/poetry preferred. Experience teaching creative writing required.
