We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk - Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate departments
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Support the accounting department in daily tasks
  • Utilize software such as QuickBooks, ADP, UltiPro, and Kronos for financial recordkeeping

Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk - Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to
  • Previous experience in corporate accounting preferred
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in the wastewater treatment or environmental industry is a plus
